    Hello,

I used the PHP setting to successfully hide the metadata, but now I want Google to show the date my content was published so I turned the setting off in the plugin, then deactivated it.

I check to see if the date and metadata is showing up in Google, and it isn’t.

I’m wondering how to reverse the changes the plugin has made to my site?

    Thank you.

Deactivating the plugin will wont impact on the settings. The setting remains the same after deactivating. Let me know if you are still having any issue.

    Thanks Mahesh,

How do I make the date show on my articles again?

I’ve got the same problem as (@buckywuckyhi) I have changed settings back to show both author and date but it has not worked. Author and date show on the preview but disappear on the homepage which is set to latest posts and just shows the word ‘status’ You can see it here. Can you advise how I get author and date back as it looks strange on this theme. Many thanks.
