Reverse order by date?

Is it possible to get the plugin to either start with the newest images, instead of the oldest (as it does out of the box) OR select a date range of images to process?
Love this plugin, and it has saved quite a bit of time, but either of these two options (and I’m open to code hacking, if someone can tell me what to edit) would make it SO much better (for me at least ?? )
