• To understand the issue let follow the steps

    1. Create a page on site and create a reusable block (now called Synced pattern)
    2. Now copy all blocks and paste it in another site.
    3. You see that rest of the content paste but the reusable blocks shows nothing and throws an error “Block has been deleted or is unavailable.”

So when we copy page from one site to another, it should I either covert the reusable block pattern to the regular block pattern or should create a ne w synced pattern in new site too.

Hey @hozefasmile – I see what you mean.

The reason that happens is that with Synced/Reusable patterns the content stores a reference to the Synced Pattern, but not the full content of the pattern itself.

And once you paste that reference into the new site – the pattern itself doesn’t exist. When you copy the blocks – the editor has no way of knowing the context of where you’re going to paste that content, so it makes sense that it just copies the reference to the pattern.

What I’d recommend is first converting the synced block/pattern into normal blocks before you copy them – that way they’ll come across to the main site as native blocks (instead of the reference to the pattern).
