returns “Invalid email address” error

    I have just installed this plugin as a way for our users to subscribe to new post notifications. When I tested it with an address of my own (from a different browser and not signed-in) I get the error “invalid email address”. I tried it with a couple of different addresses that are known to work otherwise. Have I missed a set up step somewhere?

    No longer getting the error message (yay!) Will have to see if the post notifications works. Also had trouble importing contacts from CSV file, but may have been a formatting issue on my end. I’ll have another go.

    Do not rollback to previous version as it has security issues. Please update to the latest version 3.5.1.

    I’ve installed the latest version 3.5.1 and it was working but now I get the “invalid email address” error.

    I seem to only get the “invalid email address” error on the home page of the site, in the footer widget. On other pages it seems to work.

    we got the same problem again. No matter which email i put in, i get the error “invalid email address”. But it happens only in google chrome.
    We are using lastest version. Would you please kindly take a look?

    Which version of Email Subscribers you are using as of now.

    Please share your website link where you have placed subscribe form so that we can check it.

    same problem here: invalid email address. Only in Google Chrome over Android. Using last version (3.5.6).

    I’m having the same problem on version 3.5.6, on Chromebook and Android. It was working on my staging site but not live. I have to disable the plugin until this is fixed.

    I have the same problem here: “invalid email address” in the footer of my store.

    I just updated to the latest version. What a horrible quality control, people having this issue for last 5 month, I though it would be resolved by now.

    Just to follow-up on my recent post. I have discovered that I get “invalid e-mail address” message when I do this test while losing to WC with my admin account. If I do the test as a guest visitor, it all works.
    Perhaps, need to test what happened if I login to my profile as a regular usr and try to subscribe.
