Returning to gallery after seeing Jetpack Caroussel –

    Hi there,

    I am really happy with jetpack, but there is only one issue regarding the user experience that I wish could change : after watching a jetpack caroussel and returning to a gallery, if a user wants to return to the main gallery listing (to see other galleries), things get complicated, because the “back” button of the browser leads the user back to each photo that had been seen in the carousse and not to the gallery listing. This is very annoying and confusing. Would there be a way to solve this issue?

    Thanks for the feedback. That behaviour is indeed expected, but I can see how one could expect things to work differently.

    We’ve actually discussed about this recently; you can follow our discussion here:

    I added a link to this thread to the issue, so we can reconsider that behaviour if more Jetpack users find it confusing in the future.

    i find it very confusing and i would like it to behave as most of the users expect it to behave. it is an obvious thing that the browser’s back and next buttons are not made for navigation between popped up slides.
    and i don’t think that marking this topic as resolved will help anyone who is having this misunderstood behavior solve their problem
