Hey, great plugin. I have installed it and have a few questions:

    1. Is it possible to return the result of the individual’s vote to them? i.e. “You rated this post a 3, the overall rating is a 3.5”, that kind of thing.

Even without a shortcode, if the results are being recorded as a custom field or something I can display using PHP.

    2. Same idea for the top ratings results, is it possible to return the individual user’s list of top results? i.e. their personal top 10

    3. Is it possible to have this plugin applied to all posts, but only those within a certain category?

Like I said, great plugin and it’d be awesome if the couple features above were possible, it’d really fit my needs.

    Please advise, thanks!

Some great ideas! I’ll look at including some of the features soon.

1: Result is calculated and the rating item entry values are stored in the db. User ip address is also captured but the loggef in wp username is not currently. This can be added so this feature is possible. I might also add a checkbox setting to return the actual user’s rating result when they submit a rating too.

2: It would have to be against their logged in wp username. This is not available yet but I will add it soon.

3: I will look into this. AI agree it would be useful

    Thanks

Hey Daniel. Thanks so much for getting back. (For some reason it didn’t email me that you had replied so I apologize for the delay in response).

    1. There is probably a way to manually capture if they are logged in or not? A standard field to look for and document?

    2. But you could currently return results tied to the IP address? Or could the IP address be “tied” to the username somehow?

Thanks so much for the help. This plugin is so close to what I need to use it for, and I appreciate the response.

Hey Daniel. Does it tie results back to the user ID? So anytime they log in they could see results, etc?

Comment, name and e-mail only available in pro version at this stage.

For pro version also: If a user is logged in, their username is recorded when they submit a rating form and this can be seen in WP-admin.

OK so if it is recorded can their ratings be returned to them? And can they modify their rating?

Trying to see if this is the right solution for what I am trying to do, before purchasing.

It’s can be returned to them in an alert directly after they submit a rating form. But their previous rating does not appear.

It is possible to add a new shortcode to return a users actual rating result and add an option to only allow logged in users to submit a rating form once on a post. I need to think about how to modify a submitted rating. Would you still want to allow anonymous users from submitting rating forms? I could add an attribute to shortcodes to only display if a user is logged in for example. Let me know what you think and I can try to add it into the pro version for you

Hey Daniel, I shot you an email through your site, rather than laying out all my specific needs on here.

    Thanks!
