    Hi there,

    Although all our payments are working fine but we just received this notification from stripe:

    Supply a ‘return_url’ while confirming your SetupIntent. ?? ??
    We noticed that your livemode Stripe integration is experiencing payment failures because you’re not providing a return_url in your SetupIntent. The return_url is where your customer is directed after they complete their payment, and is required at SetupIntent confirmation.
    To prevent future payment failures, include a return_url when confirming the payment. To learn more about how to include a return URL, visit our docs.

    Please guide us or update the plugin with these new API features.
    We’re currently working with the legacy checkout option.

    Just to ensure we’re aligned, have you set up the necessary webhooks and events correctly? If not, could you kindly update the plugin to its latest version and then follow our detailed guide to reconfigure the webhook?

    Received the same email from Stripe.

    Plugin was updated to latest version (v8.5.1) yesterday.

    Reconfigured the webhooks as asked, although not sure how the actual problem is related to webhooks. Don’t know if that helped or not.

    In other words, 8.5.1 breaks the existing webhooks and we will have to reconfigure webhooks for each site when updating?

    Hi @andrisp,

    I understand that you’ve also received an email from Stripe and have updated the plugin to the latest version (v8.5.1) and reconfigured the webhooks as suggested.

    The role of webhooks is to communicate with your store and Stripe to update order statuses, send refund information, etc. If they aren’t configured correctly, it could lead to issues with these processes.

    If you’ve reconfigured the webhooks and updated the plugin as suggested above, then you are all set and need not take any further actions.

    Thanks for the update. Did you make any changes to your Webhooks, and can you confirm everything’s working for you now?

    More testing would be required to confirm or deny this. Maybe other affected users can confirm if they get this error and if they’re using Legacy or UPE. If you also try switching to UPE does it work for you?

    I switched to the updated checkout experience and this seems to solve the issue. I am doing more testing but for now it looks better.
