Over the past few days I’ve noticed that connecting to Jetpack is failing for several new sites. Not every time, but at least a few times a day out of maybe 5.

When trying to connect, the page gets stuck on “Completing connection”

Clicking “Return to your site” does nothing. Any ideas what could be causing it? Is this an issue at wp.com or our hosting provider?

    Thanks,

    Phil

  • I have the same issue. After logging in and clicking connect it asks to choose an upgrade, I choose FREE and it goes to the wordpress admin panel back but doesn’t connect.

Same for me. Doing the connect process and I don’t know if I’m connected but thing is that returning to jetpack dashboard keeps showing the ‘You are not connected to WordPress.com’ message.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Can you all please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1. Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2. Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3. Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4. Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5. Click the “Contact Support” button to send us the debug results privately. It’s best not to post this information on public forums, as it contains private details about your site.

    Thanks!
