return to originating page after login

When a not logged user wants to read a protected post, he has to log in then he is redirected to the “membership options page”.

For my need, I don’t require this “membership options page”, but my logged in user has to be redirected to the requested post.

Is there a way to short-circuit the “membership options page” and go directly to the post ?
