Return 'Did you Mean' results from a specific category

    Hello

    I’m using Relevanssi Premium on a site with a number of different categories.

    The search forms are set up to search specific categories only (not a sitewide search) using the hidden form field <input type='hidden' name='cat' value='1' />

    I’d like to use the ‘did you mean’ feature, but was wondering if it’s possible to limit the suggestions it returns from specific categories? In other words, if the search was on category 1, the did you mean suggestions would only be from category 1.

    Any advice would be welcome thank you.

    If you’re using Relevanssi Premium, please use the Premium support –?that usually gets you answers faster.

    Anyway, the answer is unfortunately no – it is not possible to limit the suggestions. The suggestions come from your complete index, and restricting them somehow would be too complicated.
