Retrieving Airtable records by specifying user’s email

You can accomplish this by not using VirtualFields and instead adding something like this to your functions.php (or a plugin):

add_action( 'the_post', 'add_some_airtable_data' );

function add_some_airtable_data( $post ){

	// you can target a specific custom post type
	if ( get_post_type() == "post" ){ 

		// you can target a specific post slug/name
		if ( $post->post_name == "hello-world"){ 

			// you can target a specific category

				// You can statically provide a filter
