Retrieve PHP Variables

Greetings!
I am currently using CF7 to create posts that my users can edit later. In order to make this easier i was hoping that i could use this extension to pre-populate CF7 with the data that my earlier php code has parsed. Is this possible? (maybe with the CF7_get_custom_field option?)
