Retranslating some specific words

  • Hi Team,

    First, thank you for providing this great plugin!

    I am now searching for my problem to solve.

    We are using your plugin in Japanese, and it is well translated.

    Still, I notice that some URLs are also using Japanese words.

    Words are… month, list, today, event, today > all from the list view.

    It would not cause any problems, but it looks ugly, and it will be a bit long URL when it decoded to UTF-8 (ex: sharing a URL on Twitter).

    I have (re)translated some words by using a translating plugin (ex: Loco), but it will be overwritten when the plugin is updated. I suppose this is not the right way.

    Therefore, my question will be…

    Is there any way to overwrite some specific words from Japanese to English? Like the code on Functions.php?

    Looking at the bug ticket for this, I see that it will be included in the next maintenance release for the plugin. While I can’t provide a specific date for the release, I would expect this to be out in the next few weeks.

    I am not sure why you set this topic as “resolved” since I am still waiting for your team reply as @skyshab said “We will follow up here to let you know as soon as this is available.”.

    I suppose this matter is still ongoing. I cannot say “it is fixed or applicable”. It is really depending on you.

    I am only using the free version of your plugin and kept quiet until your team solve this matter. I am not pushing you to solve this like some other WP users.

    Please check this topic again and note that I am waiting for over 6 months. If you feel that this issue have been solved with all your team’s replies, then that is your decision.

    I just hope that this will solve soon.

    Looking at the bug ticket, this will be included in the maintenance release that is scheduled to go out this week.
