• I initially started using the paid version of WP Retina 2x in 2015, however I’m not sure I ever had it set up properly. I recently re-visited it, upgraded to the latest Pro version, uninstalled the old version, installed the new Pro version, and followed the tutorial for the settings. Screenshot of “Basic” settings.

I then went to Media > Retina and did a Bulk Generate for 4,709 images in my library. Once completed, and I refreshed the page and started scrolling through my images to find most did not have a Retina version generated. I’m confused as to why not.

Here is a screenshot that shows both photos with Retina versions for all sizes as well as photos with no Retina versions. I see that the one of the dimensions in pixels is red for all of them, however what I don’t get is why the plugin generated Retina versions for some of them, but not others. It seems inconsistent.

Since 2015 I’ve uploaded most photos at 1500 pixels width thinking that was sufficient as it was double the width my theme displays medium photos (750 pixels) in posts w/sidebar. Why are they all not showing a Retina version, at least for the medium size version which is what I care the most about?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Indeed, it seems your images should be all generated, the sizes seem all perfectly fine.

If you click on Generate on a simple image in the Retina Dashboard, it doesn’t work neither?

Can you have a look into your PHP Error Logs? Something else might be happening in the back, killing the process before it ends.
