You can utilize Advanced Ads for any code snipped you want, using retina optimized images or HTML5 srcset attributes with the “text and code” ad type. You can also assign custom CSS classes or container IDs for each ad individually to make sure your retina optimization finds the correct place to shine.

The image ad type from Advanced Ads uses the built-in image management from your WordPress installation. If this is optimized for retina or webp your image ads should also show as these.
