Results page, show full excerpt

    Hello,

    This plugin has been a life saver!

    I’m just wondering if there is a way to display the full post excerpt?
    Instead of it having the read more?

    I’ve got some html in the post description and it would be amazing if it could pull though to the display results thumbnails to limit the number of clicks.

    The way the site works is that you search for the make, model and year of the car, and the search brings up paint swatches that are relevant to the car they’ve searched for.

    Then when they click on the colour they want, it displays a colour code they can copy and paste when purchasing a product. If this post information could display in the search results that would be amazing!

    Hi Lily

    The excerpt should show the full excerpt (if you filled in the excerpt field in your posts), but it will show a cut down version of the full content up the number of words you set in your excerpt field.

    So click on your excerpt in the template editor, and you will see the setting:

    Limit Post Content length (words) – which you can set upto 100 words.

    Does that solve the issue? If not, if you can explain what I might be missunderstanding then I can try to advise further.
