    I’ve gotten no response to this.

    I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. That didn’t help.

    I tried installing the API and now the map doesn’t display at all.

    Does the “event” value in your listing shortcode match the value in your input form shortcode?

    Two locations:
    1. Grand Mark Colony Tamando, Bhubaneswar OR 752054
    2. Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad, Telagana 500001

    The main issue is after submitting, it gives wrong notification
    “There is already an entry for that address. If you are updating an entry, use the link sent to you in an email when you first entered your listing. If you share the address, use a different unit number”

    Thank you again for kind response.

    Here’s the shortcode for the form page

    [yardsale-form event=”yardsale” mapheight=”500px” mapwidth=”100%” lat=”42.998556″ lng=”-78.18762500000003″ zoom=”12″ city=”Batavia, Le Roy, Alabama, Oakfield, Byron, Bergen, Elba, Darien, Pembroke, Corfu, Alexander, Pavilion” state=”NY” statedefault=”NY”]

    Here’s the shortcode for the map page:

    [yardsale-listing event=”yardsale” mapheight=”400px” mapwidth=”100%” lat=”42.9971189″ lng=”-78.1818437″ zoom=”10″]

    FWIW: If I create a listing, get the confirmation e-mail and follow the edit link, the marker appears in the right place on the map. But I’m not seeing any markers on the general community map.

    Hi,
    thanks again for reply.
    Even on your site, it shows wrong location.
    But good thing is that I did not see wrong notification after submitting.No idea why i see wrong notification!

    It shows correct city, but wrong locality like road etc.

    ok….it is showing correct location for short address. Now my main concern is wrong notification after submitting listing that is :
    “There is already an entry for that address. If you are updating an entry, use the link sent to you in an email when you first entered your listing. If you share the address, use a different unit number”

    The plugin takes the address and sends it to Google Maps to get a lat/long value to place the marker on the map. If Google Maps gives something wrong for the input address, I can’t control that.

    I don’t know why you see the duplicate notification. I looked at the code. It queries the database for an exactly same entry (all the same values entered in the form).

    I suggest change the event value in both of your shortcodes to start with a fresh data set. Or you could look at your database table to see what is there (table wp_yardsale).

    @micheal.

    Yes, that worked on your site.

    ok….Thank you
    I will again write you back after checking.

    I changed event name,Also deleted all row of yardsale table, posted again new listing…but still the same error!

    I m using following shortcode

    [yardsale-listing event=”yardsalegrit” mapheight=”500px” mapwidth=”100%” lat=”38.897678″ lng=”-77.036517″ zoom=”14″]

    [yardsale-form event=”yardsalegrit” mapheight=”500px” mapwidth=”100%” lat=”38.897678″ lng=”-77.036517″ zoom=”14″]

    @mrityunjay

    I put your 2 shortcodes you listed above here:
    https://michaelsimpson.xyz/2016/07/29/yard-sale-entry/
    https://michaelsimpson.xyz/2016/07/29/yard-sale/

    I don’t see the error. I’m still unclear what is different about your site.
