Results list – search term in title first then in description

  • Hi Jeroen,

    Thanks for the great plugin.

    I want to display the results in such a way that if the search term is in title then it should appear first then only the search term in description should appear.

    For example if someone searches for ‘Mango’. The results should appear as below:

    Mango
    The mango fruit is roughly oval in shape, with uneven sides….

    Fruits
    the sweet product of a tree or other plant that contains…
    eg: mango, apple,…

    Now my results appear in a random order, can you please help me to sort this?

    Hi Celin,

    thank for your kind words! The search functionality in Name Directory is a bit basic. At the moment the script doesn’t know where the searchterm was found, but I think it is a great idea. In the coming weeks I don’t have a bunch of time to do this, but I will leave the topic open to work on it.
