    We are getting results to pages that don’t exist, even though we’re using the inverted engine and rebuilt the index. Take a look at the repeated results are the bottom of this page (I already redirected the first few):

    https://www.wgbhalumni.org/?s=ambrosino

    Pages not found:
    https://www.wgbhalumni.org/?page_id=7446
    https://www.wgbhalumni.org/?p=7592
    https://www.wgbhalumni.org/?page_id=7447
    https://www.wgbhalumni.org/?page_id=7448

    I believe those were drafts and deleted and are no longer in our posts list.

    Also in the last index rebuild, we see this at the end:

    Finished Creating Index.
    9 index error(s):
    [post_id]: 1206 – [error]: Could not save index rows
    [post_id]: 1842 – [error]: Could not save index rows
    [post_id]: 1941 – [error]: Could not save index rows
    [post_id]: 5344 – [error]: Could not save index rows
    [post_id]: 9939 – [error]: Could not save index rows
    [post_id]: 10043 – [error]: Could not save index rows
    [post_id]: 115969 – [error]: Could not save index rows
    [post_id]: 116917 – [error]: Could not save index rows
    [post_id]: 116984 – [error]: Could not save index rows

    Any suggestions?

    Sorry to hear about the problem you are having.

    Could you please try resetting the index settings and recreating the index?

    Hi. I reset, deleted, and rebuilt the search index. I also flushed all caches.

    I’m still seeing the same search results to non-existent pages and see these errors on the index settings screen:

    9 index error(s):
    [post_id]: 1206 – [error]: Could not save index rows
    [post_id]: 1842 – [error]: Could not save index rows
    [post_id]: 1941 – [error]: Could not save index rows

    Could you please try whether you get the same search results using the “Default WordPress Search Engine” as shown in this screenshot https://imgur.com/a/0VyOz4V

    Done, and cleared all caches.

    The problem is still there. No change.

    Please make sure that those posts are not draft posts and you have made the drafts posts searchable.

    Could you please temporarily deactivate the Ivory Search plugin and visit the below URL to know whether you get the same search results or not?

    When deactivating Ivory Search, the results are correct and the problem is gone.

    How do we make draft posts searchable/non searchable?

    You can make the draft searchable as shown in this screenshot https://imgur.com/a/q7E8D5V

    That requires the Pro version to access.

    It means you have not configured it to search deaft posts.
