In MailPoet 3. How do I resubscribe someone that has bounced? We have already reset their status to subscribed from bounced, but emails are not being received. It appears that they are not even being sent as they are not hitting the organization’s gateway. We have successfully been able to send emails to others within the same organization without issue now that they have corrected a setting that was blocking IP by country of origin.

Do subscribers get blocked by the MailPoet Sending Service once they have bounced? If so, how do I request that they be reset?

    Hi @mputman007,

Yes, that’s correct. When you’re sending emails through our sending service, if a subscriber is marked as “Bounced”, it means they have been also marked as a hard bounce in our system. So even if you change their status in the plugin admin pages, no emails will be sent to them.

You have to contact us via email requesting this email address to be removed from our suppression list.

This would be good information to include in the MailPoet Sending Service FAQ. It does not exist and is essential information for those using your plugin. You should also mention the IP block (176.9.183.0/24) that the MailPoet Sending Service uses and that they come from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, so that subscribers do not block incoming email from those locations.
