    Hi,

I have implemented your plugin to my website to allow users to play in a football pool, either a free league or paid members league.
I have therefore set up two subscriptions that users can sign up for (Free and Paid).

When i go to view a page (leaderboard) and click on another users data (to see their predictions and scores) it restricts me as a user/subscriber to the site and advises that i don’t have the right membership level to view.

I can however access the users data if i login as the Admin therefore its seems to be open for administrators but no one else.

The problem i have is that i’m on the basic plugin which doesn’t have settings to restrict users from seeing certain areas of the site but simply setting up payments and memberships.

    Can you help?

Is there any code that i can add to my custom css to get around this restriction?

  • Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You can restrict access to content using the [pms-restrict] shortcode or the Content Restrict option inside pages.

It seems like you restricted the access to the users data inside the leaderboard page and that is why are you are seeing that notice. Can you tell me how are you displaying that data?

Also can you send me some links to take a look at the leaderboard page?

    Best regards,

    Teodor,

    Thanks for your reply.

I can confirm that there is no restrictions on the page itself and is open to all to see and not restricted to any members.

You can go to https://www.fantasypremierpredictions.com and click on the leaderboard tab at the top of the page. It will show you the leaderboard but before i used your plugin i could click on any users name and see what predictions they made for any game however this now comes up with a restriction message for all members (you may get a message about not being logged in if not registered) unless i login as the administrator of which i can view each users data.

It seems very strange to me and discussions with the owner of the football pool plugin has advised there is no restriction on his plugin to do this which only points to your plugin.

    any ideas?

    Teodor,

I just deactivated your plugin and i can now access the users data without being logged in as admin but as a user/subscriber. I can therefore confirm that your plugin restricts seeing this data even though there is no setting to actually do so.

Is there any code that i can add to custom css to stop this so i can keep your plugin going for future users to subscribe to either free or membership levels.

    Teodor,

Dont worry i found the problem. It was an extra page that was linked that didnt have the restrictions added.

    All working now.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I am glad you managed to find and fix this issue.

This post is marked as resolved.
