First, I’m sorry to bother y’all in a holiday weekend. This is not urgent, so please feel free to respond later.

I installed Content Control today and created a new restriction rule for some published pages to test things out. After verifying that everything was indeed working properly, I tried to delete the rule. But it doesn’t get deleted! I will click the trash icon, click OK, the rule will disappear. But when I open the settings page again, it reappears! I have made this GIF to show the problem: https://i.imgur.com/KpIHvj8.gif

I am using WP 6.1.1 and PHP 8.0.x, if it helps. I don’t believe any of my plugins are interfering here, but I can provide the list of installed plugins if needed.

    TIA and happy holidays!

    Hi @ashubetta

    Thanks for writing in.

We replicated the issue on our test environment. This is not a normal behavior when deleting the restriction rule.

We’ll ask our development team to have a look and get back to you.

As a workaround, can you try the following?

    – Delete the restriction .
    – Hit the Save button.

    Here’s an example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Apuerbbz

We hope that helps. Let us know how that goes.

    Thank you!

    Hi @ashubetta

    Thank you for your patience.

Currently, deleting the restriction needs clicking the save button on the admin page to save your changes.

Our developers are currently working on improvements for Content Control. Future updates will come soon, including the delete function.

Let us know if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

It worked! A simple setting that I somehow managed to overlook. Thanks for getting back to me.
