Restricting Woocommerce settings from menu

  • I understand that we need to allow ‘Manage woocommerce’ in order for a user to navigate the side panel, but does the pro version offer an option to restrict access to woocommerce settings? i.e. turn off individual menu items.

    I am trying to create a user called Product creator that will only be able to add/edit products and have some use of particular plugins that we use for customised products.

    So far I have everything I need apart from restricting access to the woocommerce settings.

    It’s not necessary to grant ‘manage_woocommerce’ just to give access to the wp-admin. Add manually and grant ‘view_admin_dashboard’ capability for this purpose. If user can add/edit products only he will not see WooCommerce->Settings, etc.
