Restricting Registration

    Is there a way to restrict who can register? Ultimate Members (crashes the site) allows a multi-choice field, don’t select a choice and registration stops.

    Does WP-Members have a way to limit registration? A work-around is OK if there is not an option to select.

    That description doesn’t really sound any different than a required field, which is of course possible. Create the desired field type (such as a select/dropdown) and make it required.

    You can also set registration to be moderated (require admin approval) – but I don’t think that’s what you’re looking for.

    You can set up any kind of limitation programmatically using the wpmem_pre_register_data action. That would allow you to create your own criteria for denying registration.
