Restricting Permission of Files Not Working

    Hi,

    I uploaded a file to WordPress’ media library and checked off values for the content restriction meta boxes; however, after saving the settings, the checkboxes become unchecked and the restrictions don’t apply.

    I’m on a multisite installation. Has anybody encountered this issue as well or know how to solve it?

  • Same issue here too. Checking roles under Content Permissions or entering an error message disappear when confirming the updates to the media file. I’m on a single site install.

    just an update, the feature to protect media uploads is not available with this plugin.
