    HI Zoker,

    Thanks for posting on the forums.

    The questions page link that you have shared is displaying 404 page not found error so please make sure it exists and also make sure you have activated the Free membership access level as displayed in the following screenshot.

    Hi,

    I fixed the question link (I changed it yesterday to “community”).

    Here you can see, that the access level is active:

    So you can see, that the positive list as well as the negative list does not work!

    HI Zoker,

    Thank you for your reply.

    I have tested it on my test site using WordPress multisite version 3.9.1 & Membership plugin version 3.4.4.1 and found it’s working fine without any issue.

    Which version of WordPress and Membership plugin are you using?

    You can just try on your development site deactivating all other plugins and using default WordPress theme like Twenty Thirteen as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/ plugin is conflicting if any.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answer.

    Im using WordPress 3.9.1 with membership 3.4.4.1.

    • I changed the theme to twenty fourteen theme
      -> No difference
    • I deactivated ALL plugins (except membership) via soft-deactivation
      -> No difference
    • I also re-uploaded the membership plugin and all wordpress files. Just to be sure, its not caused by that.
      -> No difference
    • And at least I checked htaccess and config file, but they seem to be right.

    You can look at the site, I kept the plugins deactivated.
    But you can only try the knowledge base page, because the plugin for the community plugin is disabled:

    Thank you

    Hi Zoker,

    It’s really an uncommon weird issue.

    Would you mind if I logged in to your site and did some testing? This might help get to the bottom of this faster. If this is ok, just send me log in info on the email id [email protected]
    – Include my name in the subject “Vinod Dalvi”
    – Include the URL of this post in your message so that I may track this issue better
    – Include login information (WordPress admin info username + password )

    Regards,

    Hi Zoker,

    Thank you for sending the mail.

    I checked your site but didn’t find anything wrong with the Membership settings.

    Could you please use default WordPress theme like Twenty Thirteen and deactivate all other plugins so that i can troubleshoot it again?

    Also please delete the current Membership plugin and reinstall it using the fresh copy of the plugin.

    Regards,
    WPMU DEV
