Restricting front page editor for certain pages

Really like this plug in – thank you. Just wondered, I would like to be able to restrict the use of the editor if the pages are within certain directories. For example: I want to allow an author to edit pages, posts, (etc) that exist in slade-tonbridge.co.uk\communities but not those that exist in slade-tonbridge.co.uk\events
Is this possible?
