    The plugin is designed to restrict access to content. Media (attachments) are very different. While you could restrict access to the media “page”, you cannot prevent access to the file system.

    There is a premium extension available that does prevent file system access. Instead of allowing access to protected files directly, it serves them through a PHP script after determining if the user has access to them or not.
