I have a menu in my sidebar, which allows for restricting to “logged in users” on each item. However if I add other items to the sidebar, such as an image with link, or just a regular link, it will always show up, even on the login page. i cannot figure out how to hide these images from non logged in users. I have the sitewide access control selected in settings.

    Hello @ericbeckham

Unfortunately, Ultimate member does not really restrict access to widgets, It can restrict access to posts and menu. I suggest you look for an additional plugin to restrict access to widgets.

ok thank you @aswingiri. I was looking at it, and it seems like I should be able to have a Login page that uses a different template than the “default” template, so thus I could just have the login & logout pages that didn’t even have the sidebar, but I cannot figure out how to add a template so that it’s available to choose in the page editing. I will keep messing with it ??

edit: when editing the Login page (and other pages accessible to non-logged-in users) I see that I can choose “full width” for the template, which removes the sidebar, but I cannot find where to edit this template.
