How to restrict access for specific language for authors? I’ve chosen language from drop down menu, but posts are still seen for users without this access level – they can edit or add new posts in this language. Im using Polylang plugin. Thanks help.

The conditions you add will only apply for content on the frontend, if you want to limit users’ permissions in the backend, you should change the Capabilities for the level.

Let me know if this answers your question.

If I change the Capabilities for one of my administrators (ex. german) it works in all languages – i can’t restrict access for one language and for other no.

So it sounds like Polylang does not add special capabilities on a per language basis. I have noted your use case down, so you might see this feature in Restrict User Access in the future.

Hi, has this feature been added already? as I have exactly the same situation:
i want to restrict editing capabilities in the backend, based on the language… e.g. have different authors be able to edit “their” language content only.
    thanks!
