    Is is possible to restrict search results so that users do not see restricted content in the search results?

    Hi @pixelpower,

    Yes! You just need to set the “Handling matches within archives” option to “Hide the restricted items from the archive page.”

    I have checked the box to hide the content from the archive page.

    The restricted pages do not appear on the search results page.

    The new problem is that the restricted pages are listed in the the search box dynamic search results drop down.

    Is there a way maybe with some code in functions.php to filter the restricted pages out of the dynamic search results?

    I am having this same issue on my site. I am using the plugin with BetterDocs and the restricted content is showing in the BetterDocs dynamic search drop down.
