• Hi All,
Is there a way or plugin to restrict one user from logging in simultaneously.

    Example:
A registered user called John is currently logged in, he gave his username and password to his friend. Then his friend also log in. This means John has a double login currently.

I want to do something like John currently logged in and anyone who try to login using the same username while John has already login to fail. That means only one instance of login by the same username is allow.

Currently WordPress allow 2 login instance using the same username.

    Please advise.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Well, John should keep his login credentials secret… and if you and John are logged in at the same time and want to edit the same article – WP 2.5 will not let you.

Hi Moshu, Thanks for your reply.

The problem is most of my user do that and I wish to have to modification or plugin to prevent 2 or more people from logging in at the same time using the same username. The users will only have the right to read posts from certain categories but not posting nor editing.

    Please advise. Thanks
