    Hello Everyone,

I’m using this plugin so that I can allow users to post random stuff on my website.

I’ve created a page that is supposed to show up after someone post his/her content. Basically, it is a thank-you page.

Now, I’m having problem making this page restricted.

Right Now, Anyone can enter the url : https://192.168.1.102/success [Yes, I’m running wordpress on localhost] and they can view this thank-you page.

Is there any way to restrict the page so that it will be only visible after posting the content through AccessPress Anonymous Post?

Maybe by using Nonce or any other way? All Suggestions are welcome ??

    Thanks in advance

    Hello there,

We have generalized a solution to redirect users to form page when accessed directly through shortcode. So, we will try to come up with the solution in our next few future updates.

    Thanks.

    Hello noobiestrikesagain,

We have released an update with the solution for the mentioned issues.

Please add redirect=”URL to be redirected if accessed directly” parameter in the ap-form-message parameter.

    For example

    [ap-form-message redirect=”https://192.168.1.102/form-page”%5D

    Thanks.

    Hey!

Thanks! I’m very much impressed with the support.

Thanks for the plugin. I highly recommend this plugin over similar plugins because of the customer support!

    Thanks once again!

I’m having the exact same issue! I’m using the pro premium version.
Does this redirect shortcode work on the pro version too?

Also, noobiestrikesagain how do you hide the page from public but still show it after submission?
Please explain if you can because I’m new to wordpress.

    Hey catmaniax,

Make sure your page is NOT listed in your primary menu.(dashboard=>appearance=>menu).

Now, let’s say your domain is xyz.com and your thank-you page is success.
So, the url must be like xyz.com/success (if you’ve pretty permalinks enabled.)

Go to Accesspress Anonymous Post=> General Settings tab.

There you will see redirect url. paste the thank-you page url here. In this example, it is: xyz.com/success.

    This will do it.

P.S. Make sure you have used redirect shortcodes on your thank-you page.

Hey, thanks for your quick reply!

The thing is, I use the premium pro version and I don’t think it has this shortcode update since it’s not been updated for 2 months now.

Is the thank you page set to private in this example, so it’s not accessible public to everyone?

noobiestrikesagain, could you post a screenshot of the page editor where you have the shortcode so I can understand?

    Thanks.

    Hey,

It’s not set to private page.

    Here’s the screenshot: https://imgur.com/EfBnEGq

Please note that it’s a page. Not to be confused with post.

Ok thanks, I already have the submit button to redirect to the thank you page.
The thing is, how could the thank you page not be accessible to everyone all the time since it’s not set to private and be only visible when they submit their post?

I mean, if someone just copies-pastes your https://192.168.1.102/success isn’t it visible?

It’s not accessible if you try it directly.

Most probably developers have implemented refer-check in the script.

It’s working fine and I’m very satisfied with it.

Does this page on your screenshot here https://imgur.com/EfBnEGq show the form as well or is this just the thank you page?

Sorry for the many questions but I cannot get it to work :S

    Hey,

    No problem with the questions.

This page will show you the form if access directly.
