I want to create a user level that can only Read, Read private posts, and Read private pages.

I do not want them to be able to have any access to the dashboard, but when they log in, it still brings them to the dashboard with with all of the News feeds for my WordPress and my Theme. Ideally, I’d want any access to the wp-admin section to redirect them back to their home page. Is this possible?

    Thank you for reporting this.

Are you using the login shortcode to display the login form? If so, that should redirect users back to the current page after logging in.

Currently it is not possible to block the admin dashboard completely, but it is a great idea, and I’ll see if I can implement it in the next version.

That would be great! For now I am using a second plugin to do this: Remove Dashboard Access, but it would be much more convient if it could all be managed with just one plugin.

I use Restrict Dashboard Access on a few websites that this would be helpful for; so, please let me know when this is implemented so I can streamline my process on them.
