Hi, I am running a non-profit members site and I have groups with private content and private posts and pages administered by admins who have acceess to ONLY THEIR OWN private content.

In oder to have private posts and pages I created custom post types assigned to the different admin roles. Works fine.

With these custom post types I need the “restrict-content” metabox which is swichted on by granting the capability “restrict content” to an admin.

However, when I grant the “restrict content” capability to one admin he/she has access to all other private post types. Not editing, but reading.

I checked “Denied capabilities should always overrule granted capabilities.” and I denied read/edit/delete the others custom post types. But to no avail.Every admin can read every other admins pages and posts.

    How can that be?

It looks like: a role that has the capability to “restrict content” for it’s own custom post type can not be restricted to an others custom post type.

    Thnx
    Calli

    Hi Calli,

?I apologize for the delay in response.

Unfortunately, what you’d need is not provided by our plugin and requires custom development. Sorry about that.
