restrict comment search for allowed content?

    Hello,

    This is a “presales” type question, I’m still searching for the right solution. We want to use the feature of searching within comments of a custom post type. This custom post type is only available to users with a certain role/capabilities, not everyone. Will this plugin handle this correctly? Ie. seaching the post content and comments would only show results for users who are logged in and have permission to view the post itself?

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

    The plugin searches post content and comments but the plugin does not generate a search results page as the theme generates it so you have to handle it in the theme what content to display to which users by contacting your theme support.
