Restrict Categories works only for posts?

    So my website is developed in WordPress and we have a jobs add-on through which we post jobs onto the site. Now when I installed this plugin, it works only for the regular posts but does not for this jobs add-on (both the screens look exactly the same though). Now i’m not sure if the jobs addon is a post or a page.
