    Hi,

Is there an easy way to restrict access to my calendar to only registered (and logged-in) users? The content on my site is strictly for registered users (this is managed using the WP-Members plugin) – if someone tries to access the content from my menu, they are directed to either register or login. Since all of my menu items (except for the calendar) are pages, it is easy to block access to them.

However, since the calendar is accessed via a Custom URL entry in my menu, it isn’t obvious how I can block access to it – if at all. I know I can upgrade to Pro and then incorporate a shortcode on a custom page which I can then block, but I would prefer not to have to upgrade just to restrict access to registered/login users.

I have reviewed my general WP settings, and those for WP-Members, and don’t see anything obvious. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,
    Nancy

  • Hi @nancygraz,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! While we don’t offer a simple out-of-the-box toggle for disabling public access to calendars, there are a few ways to achieve a “members-only” calendar of this type. You can get all the information on our Knowledgebase here:

I hope that helps to get you on your way! ?? Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Carolyn,

In the link you provided there were 2 links to methods:
    Method One: Using a Redirect
    Method Two: Using CSS

but their corresponding links are both showing 404 not found page.
Kindly is there any source to help sort this out.
