The autocomplete suggestion works great, however, I don’t want users to see suggestions that are outside of the website content. Is there anyway to limit this? I don’t want to disable it completely, I want it to work for the site content.

I’m happy to buy the premium plugin if I can get this search tailored.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

I’m afraid that is not possible with the google keyword suggestions. The google suggestions are a free service, and there is no possibility to restrict the suggestions to a website.

In the Pro version you can choose post titles as well as taxonomy terms ( tags, categories ) as autocomplete or keywords suggestion sources.

    Thanks for the reply.

Just so I understand, if I get the pro version, autocomplete will NOT show these extra suggestions that are outside the website content?

Yes, in that case you can choose which sources you want to display the suggestions from.

Okay, thanks! Did you see my question about Spell checking?

Basically I need two features to work:
    1. Autocomplete for site content only
    2. Spell checking to work. Suggest ‘Did you mean’ similar to a Google search.

If you choose the post titles and taxonomy terms for the autocomplete, it will use only those instead of the google autocomplete suggestions.

Spell check: for taxonomy term sources (categories, tags etc…) a similarity algorithm used to suggest possible keywords when no results match for up to 50 000 taxonomy terms.
Of course that is not as much clever as the google spell check, but should work very similarly.

Okay thanks for the update, I’ll get the pro version.
