Hi– thanks for using Force Login!

This plugin only restricts the frontend (public-facing pages) from being accessible to visitors.

If you’re in need of a solution to restrict certain users from accessing the WP admin area, this plugin doesn’t help with that.

    TL;DR –?No.

Hi @kevinvess, thank you for replying.

I can see why my answer was misinterpreted, so I’ll rephrase it.

I want to restrict my website to all people, even if they have a WP account on my website, except for the admin users. I use a membership plug-in, so I have a lot of WordPress users that I don’t want to be able to see the public-facing pages of my website.

    Thank you for replying.

Unfortunately, the plugin is not built to block out users based on their role.

If you force logged-in users back to the log in screen, that would only confuse them as they would be stuck in a loop.

Can you use the membership plugin to temporarily lock out certain users from being able to log in? That way they get some error message on the log in screen instead of just constantly being redirected back to log in.

    Good luck, thanks!

Hi @kevinvess, I can see why the loop would be confusing. I’ll look into blocking out users from the membership plug-in. Thank you for replying and for building and maintaining the plug-in.
