    Hello,

    I have several types of users on my site (editors, contributors, etc.). However, for security reasons I wouldn’t like none of them apart from admin to have access to settings of “User Role” plug-in.

    So, I have disabled all actions to user apart from “list_users”, yet, each user still may freely access settings of “User Role” and change her/his own permissions.

    So, my question is:
    How do I restrict access to settings of “User Role” while still maintaining all other permissions?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us!

    How do I restrict access to settings of “User Role” while still maintaining all other permissions?

    This functionality is not available. We will consider it, and if we deem it necessary, we will make the necessary changes to the plugin.

    But you can restrict access to settings of all plugins for users.
    Please try to do the following steps:
    1) Go to the Admin dashboard;
    2) Go to the plugin’s settings page;
    3) Choose the necessary Role Name and press “Edit”;
    4) There, in the “Capabilities” block, check “All” and disable checkbox “Other default options”->”manage_options” and click “Update Role”;
    5) Check the result.
    Let us know if you have any additional questions.
