  • Hey @pepito64

Thanks for using Content Control! When creating your restriction rules on the “Content Control” page found in the “Settings” menu, you can choose to restrict access to products of a certain category or the category archives themselves.

When creating a new rule, switch to the “Content” tab and then select the product option that best fits for your use case.

Let me know if I can assist with anything else!

    Hi @fpcorso

Many thanks for your answer !

I will describe bellow the scenario I did to set up my restriction rule :

    1) Settings > Content control
    2) Create a new rule (“Restriction editor”)
    3) – General > “Who can see this content?” : Logged in users
    – Then I select the role that can see the content (not admin, a role that is not assigned to me in order to not see the content)
    4) “Protection” :
    – “Choose how to protect your content” : Redirect
    – “Where will they be taken?” : Login & Back
    5) “Content” : ‘Is Catégories: Selected’ > then I select the product category I want to restrict.

And I still see the content whereas I should not

Can you help me on this ?

I am working in local for the moment, I wonder if it’s not because of that…

Thanks for your answer @fpcorso !

@pepito64 – Product categories are not the same as categories used for posts. I think our latest update should resolve this for you though by showing WooCommerce Product Categories as an option as well.
