Hello there. How can i restrict certain pages to logged in users only? For example, i have enable this function – https://prnt.sc/1zjmf6u

And i have restricted only my Series – https://prnt.sc/1zjmg6d

But even that, everything is locked for logged in users, blogs, posts, pages… How can i restrict only Series to be for logged in users? I’ve tried to change first option to – Site accesible to everyone, and restrict only Series… But then everything is unlocked. ??

Edit: But even that, everything is locked for non-register users, blog, posts, pages…

And i’ve tried to Exclude the following URLs, by typing it [ redundant link removed ] , but the blog pages are not excluded, cuz they have longer url-title, like [ redundant link removed ]/news1 and etc. Basically, they are still locked for non-rigester users.

    Hi @qnkov

Have you tried restricting the posts( Custom post type name “Series” ) by editing the post and then see the UM Content Restriction?

If you talk about individual restrict by this – https://prnt.sc/1zp3ux7 , no… you can restrict certain posts like that in Series, but i have like 500+. I need the whole option Series to be restricted this – https://prnt.sc/1zp3x5u , or i didn’t understand what u mean?

My settings are like that – https://prnt.sc/1zp4a5u, but with that you only open those restriction options for posts/page/series, right?

And i have tried to Exclude the following URLs from restriction by typing this url link to – mysite/blogs … but it’s still locked for non-register users, maybe because once you add new blog, the url change to mysite/blogs/news1 … so i cannot do even that.

Basically, my idea is to exclude blogs , once i’ve restricted the site to logged in users only, or Open it to non-register users, but restrict Series, so the blogs can be open.

Why do i need this? Because once you share link to blogs (or series, but i don’t need them to be shared) in Discord or Facebook, it does not show preview with poster and resume, only black screen with text Log In. That’s because i’ve locked the site. I can exclude individual links to blogs, but when they are 100+ … it’s just impossible. Even using SEO i can only add image to that, nothing else.

    Hi @qnkov

Have you tried restricting the posts via taxonomy/category? UM can restrict posts by category/taxonomy. Please see the screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11n8FRrlmmJZBQOEGyEhQ0FRg9Z8aHoqS/view?usp=sharing

I cannot see those options for me. I’m using UM 2.1.4 , are they missing from it? I didn’t update, cuz last time it broke the plugin for my theme when i’ve tried.

Edit: I found how to enable it, but how to apply restrict to all posts or series by category or something? I cannot understand how to make mass apply. I mean, isn’t that individual function too? Can you mass Apply ?

    Link – https://prnt.sc/1ztdz8l

I can see that you can add new category or tag or something else with restrict… but how to apply to exist

    Hi @qnkov

Unfortunately, there’s no mass apply for the content restriction. You will have to manually edit each category to apply the restriction settings.

Thanks. I will see what i’m going to do.
