Restoring WP from backup

  • I recently had a server crash and I had to restore WP program from tape and DB from text file. The DB restore withour problem. However, after I restored the program files, when I try to open WP I get error, “It doesn’t look like you’ve installed WP yet. Try running install.php.” If I try running install.php I get, “Already Installed
    You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.”

    I do not want to clear the DB. What is it I am missing?
