    Hi:
I attempted to restore a wordpress site to my localhost using updraftplus.
The production site has a prefix in the form of Xyz_.
It also uses astra, astra pro, elementor, elementor pro and wpforo.
When the local host site was created (XAMPP on a PC), all the database tables had a prefix of xyz_ (no captitals).
I had to fix the wpforo url manually.
    Initially permalinks did not work.
Redirection and logging in via a url did not work. (code snippet had word fine previously).
    I repeated this experience 3x.
When I did the 4th attempt, I left off the prefix change and defaulted to wp_.
I was able to get the site up and running with the redirection working fine.
Are there known issues with site prefixes?
Would the ‘Pro’ version solve these issues?

    Thanks in advance,

    bob

    Hi Bob,

That’s not the case. Both the free and Premium versions will work with any WordPress table prefix.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle
