The web server where our site was hosted, was attacked by a virus and we didn’t have our own backup. The web host restored the server but our site wouldn’t come online. We have the files from the upload directory and they gave us a database file.

I got a new web hosting account with a different company and installed WP and the theme clean.

Now I am trying to import the database via myphpadmin. I dropped the tables that were generated by the new WP install, and tried to import the “softsql.sql” database file they sent me, but I get 11 tables and then the error message: “Script timeout passed, if you want to finish import, please resubmit same file and import will resume.”

If I resume the import I get the message that the tables exist and if I drop the tables and try to import again I get the timed out error.
