Restoring posts and comments through FTP??

I have posts all over this place so there is information about what has been happening for the last week here.

My website is discoverboo.com and this is happening because I am changing hosts. My old host has closed my account down and my new host is just as bad as the old for customer support.

I did not export my posts and comments through wordpress because until today I did not know I could.

But for now.

I have restored my SQL datatbase to my MyPhpadmin section in my cpanel.

According to my “help desk” through my host this is all that should be needed to get my posts and comments back.

But that has not happened.

Before my old host closed me down we downloaded my wordpress home directory using FTP filezilla. So I assume I have all of my posts and comments in there somewhere. I guess in public_html.

What specific files do I need to transfer back in to the wordpress files to get these back using FTP??

I have been unable to find specific information in the codex about how to go about this kind of problem.

I am very stressed and upset that I may have lost the last three years of my site.
