I was put in charge of a website that had an admin username, so I created another username. I logged in with my new username and went to delete the many usernames that were in there. When I did that, I accidentally deleted the admin username along with the posts. I realized that I forgot to backup my database (a big no-no I know). I updated WordPress and all of it’s plugins before I deleted the admin username.

I was able to get a previous copy of the database, but I am afraid that if I replace the current database, the website will crash.

    Any advice or suggestions?

I just fixed the problem. Luckily, when you delete a user and his/her posts, they go to the trash before they are permanently deleted. I was able to restore the posts. Whew!
