• Hi,

I have been handballed a .zip file which apparently has all the files needed to restore a website which is no longer accessible.

I am trying to get the website up and running on a new host, and currently have a blank WordPress 2016 theme running. I have modified the wp-config file to have the correct username and password in there, and am now following through the steps to import a WP site from .zip file.

I am at the stage where I have accessed phpMyAdmin and need to import the database. Where would I find this in the .zip file? I have the WP structure (goi-bin, wp-admin, wp-content etc) in the file but if I upload via FTP and try to access I get a Server 500 error, even with the modified wp-config file.

Any help or pointers would be awesome ??

    Thanks – Glenn

I should also note I am unaware of how the .zip file was created – they said they retrieved it from their website development site.
