restoring blog display

Hi,
After a long month of transferring my blog to a new database I have finally recovered my admin page and dashboard. All looks good except the actual blog is not displaying? I made some changes along the way upgrading like turning off the plug-ins and themes. I’m so close I don’t want to screw things up again. Any ideas on where to start with displaying the actual blog would be so great. Thanks, L
